Located in the south-west of Sapa town, Fansipan Legend is the resort complex with many class projects. In the near future, Fansipan Legend is one of the most attractive tourist destinations of Vietnam in general and north Vietnam in particular. Along with the tremendous cable car system, the area has plush five-star hotels, restaurants with local specialties, golf courses and a shopping mall constructed at the Fansipan Legend tourism site. In addition, Vietnamese pagodas were also built near the cable car stations, which are billed as attractive destinations for travellers who love spiritual tourism.
With the luxurious and modern architecture and atmosphere harmonizing with nature, Premier Residences Phu Quoc Emerald Bay managed by AccorHotels is splendid like a “Masterpiece on the coast of Pearl Island”.
The overall architecture Fansipan Legend in phase 1 includes:
Cable car system with 2 station:
- Sapa Station area includes the station, Van Sam Buffet restaurant, Hoa Dao restaurant, Moc Lan cafe, shopping center and pagoda Thien Tu
- Fansipan Station area includes the station, shopping center, Do Quyen restaurant, Pagoda Thanh Phong and the Fansipan peak
The cable car is the world's longest three-rope cable system, at a length of 6,292.5 metres and travels 3,143 metres above sea level, starting from the Muong Hoa Valley and reaching the peak of Fansipan Mountain.
It can carry 2,000 passengers per hour. Each train car can accommodate 30 to 35 people, helping shorten the journey to reach Fansipan's summit in 15 minutes, instead of two days of dangerous trekking.
The cable car is expected to lure more tourists to Sa Pa, with officials expecting an annual increase of 40 per cent. By 2020, there could be up to three million visitors per year. The cable car is being targeted as the main tourist attraction for Sa Pa in the years ahead.
